@Alex Schwartz: I think I'm in the tiny minority when I say I prefer the Dell, even if it's just because it's a matte screen rather than glossy. Problem I have also is the window lets a lot of light in on the centre of the desk, so having the Dell there works a lot better and the iMac just avoids the light

@Alex Pankiewicz: The USB batteries are really good; better than I thought! I use mine in the Xbox 360 controller and it lasts a good few weeks.

I love those USB Cell rechargeable AA batteries. I need to get some for my KB/mouse. I love Dell monitors as well.
