Very nice machine. What do you use it for?

I develop web applications for use internally, manage my company's (not my, just work for them) ERP, and manage every piece of tech and software involved in all of our operations.

how do i connect three monitors? can i used dual video cards or do i need that triplehead2go?

If you have a Mac Pro you can have up to four video cards. Any other mac model you would need a product like TripleHead2Go.

Oh well. I'll buy a new one for myself this Christmas... and it'll have 4 monitors... so ha.

@xander lol. When I (well, the company I work for) bought this I considered going with four as the video cards have two outputs each but I didn't want to go with 2x2, I preferred one row (in this case 3x1) and thought the width of 4x1 was too wide. I would be interested to see how you do it if you are using widescreen monitors. You don't often see four monitors (especially widescreen), it is usually 2 or 3 and then 6+.

I like the idea of 4 monitors in a row, so that they kind of wrap around on the sides. Almost creating a half-circle of screens.
It may prove to be too wide, or really awesome. If it's too wide, I'll probably stack them 2x2.

@Xander I look forward to checking it out! My only suggestion would be get all the same monitor if financially feasible, it makes a difference.
