What Netbook did you get? I can't tell from the picture. Is it running Win (XP/7) or *nix?
Michael Het ... 03 Nov, 2009
I got the Acer Aspire One with XP cause the 7 version took forever to load lol.

Acer Aspire One: Are you happy with it?
Michael Het ... 13 Nov, 2009
Yes, its a very nice netbook. I've done a quick review of it on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzMDexdEdIg see for yourself :)

Sorry now that I'm over that, have you tried playing a 720p video on that netbook?
I haven't found one that will do it without lag.
Awesome accent by the way. (lol ^_^)

Well, my episodes of The Big Bang theory are upscaled and it plays them perfectly. I hate my accent lol

Hmmm... I've been having trouble finding a netbook that will play a 720p video file, especially when it's in a matroska (.mkv) container, and is using an h.264 codec.
(I watch a lot of anime... and I rip all my videos into .mkv's. Also, fansubs that I download of the stuff that's just come out in Japan are always 720p h.264... and none of the netbooks at Best Buy that I've tested will run it.)

Well, all my films and tv are in avi format and if something doesnt run in wmp or itunes i tend to use AVS merdia player and that runs everything smoothly.
