My desk raised to about 46 inches. It goes up to 48 inches which is plenty of height. My kids love sitting on it while we raise it up, like a ferris wheel.

I designed it and then had it custom built by a local master-carpenter. I knew exactly what I wanted and I actually designed 3 other desks and I think they came out pretty well.
