The top is a frosted glass. I really like the way they look and because they are frosted, they hide fingerprints and dirt pretty well. During the winter, however, they can get cold while you're resting your arms on them.

Nope it's an Airport Extreme. I hook my MacBook Pro up to the TV for Plex, Boxee, and Hulu enjoyment.
