I made this desk a few years ago.
a) The monitors are raised off the main desk so I have more workspace.
b) It is hard to hear my computer from its location when I sit in my chair.
c) The keyboard tray which slides out is massive.

hey man - question...
Those two monitors that you have next to each other - how did you manage to stand them up without their stands?
Neil Popson 23 Aug, 2009
I took the old stands off. I fabricated some new heavy metal stands that would screw on to the old mounting holes and sit flush with the desk. If you would like I could take a picture.

really nice one! what material did you use for the desk top?
You have a pretty nice arrangement with room to store things while not feeling cluttered but well arranged!

Could you take a photo of how the monitors and mounted onto the desk? I really like how they are positioned.

Do you have a blue print of that desk. I would like to build myself one of those. I really like the design of the desk and the amount of space it has. It keeps everything neat and tidy. Thanks.

@Eleasar Chriso
I used 3/4" MDF and then put arborite on the top.
@Tom Barber
I made brackets that add a lot of weight behind the monitors to hold them in place.
@Andrew Torpey
Sorry I don't have any sort of prints for it.
